Overview

Shreeji Jewellers had four decades of local reputation and no digital presence beyond a Facebook page. Younger customers were researching designs online before visiting the showroom, and finding competitors instead.

We built a catalogue-driven website where every collection is browsable, shareable and enquiry-ready, without forcing a payment gateway onto a business whose customers still prefer to finalise in person.

The challenge

Jewellery buyers want to see detail and compare designs, but they rarely buy high-value pieces online without visiting. A conventional ecommerce checkout would have created friction while adding no real value.

Objectives

  • Present the full collection online in high detail
  • Drive showroom visits and WhatsApp enquiries
  • Rank for jewellery searches in Surendranagar
  • Let staff add new designs without developer help

Our solution

  • A collection-based catalogue with zoomable product photography and structured attributes for metal, weight range and occasion.
  • Enquiry-first product pages with one-tap WhatsApp and call actions that pass the product name into the message.
  • A lightweight CMS so the showroom team can publish new arrivals in minutes.
  • Local SEO groundwork: service and collection pages, schema markup and a fully optimised Google Business Profile.

How the project ran

Research

Interviewed showroom staff about the questions customers ask before visiting, and audited five competitor sites.

Wireframes

Mapped the browse-to-enquiry path first on mobile, keeping WhatsApp within thumb reach on every screen.

Visual design

A warm, restrained palette that lets gold photography lead, with generous whitespace and quiet typography.

Build & launch

Responsive development, image optimisation for large photography, CMS training and analytics setup.
