Overview
Urban Tadka relied entirely on aggregator apps, paying heavy commission on every order while owning none of the customer relationship.
We built a direct channel: a website that loads instantly on mobile, shows the real menu with prices, and lets guests book a table or order through WhatsApp in two taps.
The challenge
Competing with aggregator apps on convenience while running on a small marketing budget, and keeping menu prices current without developer involvement.
Objectives
- Reduce dependence on commission-based aggregators
- Make table booking effortless on mobile
- Keep the menu editable by restaurant staff
- Rank for restaurant searches in the city
Our solution
- A single-scroll mobile experience with sticky order and booking actions.
- A CMS-managed menu with categories, prices and daily specials.
- WhatsApp-based ordering that pre-fills the cart summary into the message.
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation with weekly posts.
How the project ran
Research

Wireframes
Prioritised menu, timings and location — the three things every visitor came for.
Visual design
Dark, warm layout that lets food photography dominate, with high-contrast action buttons.
